While we tried to keep just about the whole list inside the city of Philadelphia, we had to include one from the ‘burbs, and that had to be Pudge’s. Specializing in all the Philly classics, Pudge’s menu feels more like a diner menu than a sandwich shop but all of their hoagies are on point. 

Pudge’s hooks it up big time too with a large-sized hoagie that is nearly two feet long at 20 inches. The 15-minute drive from Philly to Blue Bell is damn well worth it for a Pudge’s hoagie.
