Joined by friends Alejandro Morales (Freehouse Comedy) and Michael Kelly (Best of Philly 2019, Cheap Comedy), The El-Salomons have decided to finally, fully celebrate Christmas and not just eat Chinese food in front of a movie. Join them as they figure out the true reason for the season.
The El-Salomons are a married Jewish-Palestinian lesbian comedy couple who after years of performing solo decided to add yet another challenge to their relationship: A duo act! Now they tell jokes about one another, in front of each other. A sacrifice they make for the fans.
Jess and Eman mix jokes and stories inspired by the politics of their relationship with observational humor about love in general. Every couple has a “Jess” and an “Eman” even the straight ones. If you’re wondering which one you are, the “Jess” is the one who is right. She’s also the one who wrote this.
Jess Salomon (The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon) and Eman El-Husseini (Just for Laughs) met and fell in love at a comedy club in Montreal a decade ago. After just one year of performing together this hilarious couple recorded a comedy special for Crave TV this past summer at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival. They have traveled everywhere from San Francisco Sketch Fest, to the Boston Women in Comedy Festival, to the Arctic even! Newsmakers and media darlings they’ve been featured on NowThis and PBS News Hour, and in the Washington Post.
